about

The title track of our third album, ‘Songs of Loss and Resistance’, ‘All About Love’ is a catchy eco-song, and one of two songs on the album that have not previously been released as online singles.

A regular feature of our live sets for several years, it was recorded in January 2024, in the last recording session for the album, and reflects Andy’s growing determination to address the climate crisis through songs that, while fully reflecting the gravity of the man-made crisis, also offer hope — if enough people can be persuaded to take unprecedented action to dismantle our suicidal global capitalist system.

lyrics

All About Love (Andy Worthington)

Chorus

You tried to make it all about, all about the money
But it’s all about love (x2)

Love for the earth, love for our brothers and sisters all around the world
Most of them suffering
Love for the trees, love for all of that water keeping us alive

Love for the earth, love for our beautiful children all around the world
Most of them suffering
Love for the air, love for that chemical balance keeping us alive

Chorus (repeat)

Line-up:

Andy Worthington (lead vocals, guitar)
Richard Clare (guitar, backing vocals)
Bren Horstead (drums and percussion)
Paul Rooke (bass)
Andrew Fifield (harmonica)
